I'd be interested in your thoughts on the new bus shelters.
If you ever see a crew installing one, btw, stop and watch. Shoot lots of pics, video if you can. It's incredible. They're so efficient, it's like ballet. And the wireless crane controls are off the hook.
I meant to respond to this a long time ago, but neglected to somehow. The new bus shelters are: eh. I don’t know about that squiggly fruit roll-up nonsense. Perhaps if they were a different color. And, according to today’s Chronicle, they pee on you, so that’s unfortunate. But yeah, I remember walking down Van Ness one day, there was no bus shelter, then just a few hours later it had suddenly appeared and I thought I must have been mistaken as everything in this city takes at least 17 years to build.
