I’d never heard of Ruby Johnson until yesterday. Now it’s my mission in life to make her famous, though sadly she passed away a decade ago. She released a few singles on Stax (working with Isaac Hayes and David Porter) then disappeared into obscurity. Bought a release that was put out in 1993 yesterday. All twenty songs are golden.
